Rifka’s family has to run away from Russia because her brother is in trouble with the army.  They want to sneak into the train that is going to Poland. There are Stinky Kitty, Pretty Kitty, and even Strange Kitty, who reads comic books all the time with a mouse. In the beginning, all Bad Kitty wanted was the World's Famous Cat Scratcher!!
